Hannah Hornby is a multi-disciplinary artist, who works predominantly with sculpture, sound and writing. The work considers the hybridity between humans, technology and nature, how are such elements blurred, entangled and interwoven, both through concepts, through their physicality, their materiality and beyond.

The past, reality, our histories, tomorrow, myths, fiction. A blurring of time. An interlocking of ideas and things. How does the past inform our future? What memories are held within objects? How do we define the human in the age of technology? How can we use fiction to question the cyborg and our environment? What happens when the body, machines and nature sit in parallel or bleed into one?

Such questions fuel her investigations within her practice as well as her curatorial interests, which opens up ideas about space and the audience’s presence within such a space, as well as how artworks and objects can communicate between themselves in such discourse.
