Muted Curvaceous Texted Forms: An Abstraction of the Natural World
Group show curated by Freya Morill and myself,  Spike Island, 2023.

Fluid in nature. Nature commands and bends and folds and shifts, twists and is intertwined, muddled, bitty, raw, and angular. Nature holds fluidity. Balances it in the palm of its hand. Kneading it into shape and watching it drip through its fingertips. Tones are vague in nature. Soft but with a rich deepness that sinks in parts. Notice the repetitive regularity, something which seems orchestrated and artificial. Then notice it clash with something unpredictable unattainable, which has rhythms unheard. A friction begins. Something is created. Flourishes manufactured and growing.
